Samples of the Reactor.is Co-Writer in action

Top tier, human-like writing

Only the best AI models

While other tools cheap out to save costs, we run the most capable models like Claude Sonnet 3.5 and GPT-4o.Without top-tier writing quality, your AI content sucks. We're unwilling to compromise on that.

Advanced prompt engineering

Reactor is powered by multi-step workflows, each with prompts and processes that have been heavily tested. This is orders of magnitude more sophisticated than "ChatGPT, write me a LinkedIn post."

The quality of your content = the quality of your brand

The quality of your content is a major part of how you are perceived. You're not going to publish content co-written by AI unless it reflects really well on you.We get the stakes here. That's why we're focused on writing quality above all else.

FAQs

Which should I get? The course Content Reactor or the app Reactor.is?

The course will teach you the prompting techniques and how to set up a custom content system for yourself. The app pretty much does all that for you, but you have less control over what happens. (You can give instructions but you can't see/manipulate any of the driving prompts in the system).Reactor.is is especially good if you want to create emails, social posts, or other punchy and on-the-short side content with AI.If you're looking to really make something unique and on-brand, the course might be better. And if you want to learn some of the most advanced prompting techniques out there, also, the Content Reactor course is great. It's really about how much you want to invest in your own content system, and how much prompting/AI you want to learn along the way. Some people say Content Reactor gets a tad too advanced for them, and also it can take a few hours to get the full value. With the Reactor.is app, time to value is pretty much instant (other than the 2-5 minute wait for the prompt chains to run.)

How does Reactor's AI content generator "Co-Writer" work?

Reactor uses a multi-step prompt chain to draft, improve, and write your content. Behind the scenes it includes concepting, first draft writing, a hook improver, and an auto-editor that removes most telltale signs that AI was involved. While other tools generate content in a single pass using a cheap, fast model, our multi-step content generation process can take 3-5 minutes. We think it's worth it the wait.

What AI model do you use?

We use whatever model is performing best for the task. Currently this includes Claude Sonnet 3.5, GPT-4o, and Claude Haiku 3.5.That said, the prompt chains being used here have been in development for over a year. We've run thousands of experiments and spent thousands of dollars figuring out how to get the best possible outputs from these foundational models.Should other models show promise in terms of being able to produce better content, we may swap them in. We usually begin testing new models the same day they are released.Ultimately we may train or fine tune own content writer AI, but only if we can get it to a point where it is clearly superior to all the foundational models out there right now.

Can Reactor write posts in languages other than English?

Yes, but this feature is still experimental. Our preset content types all use English examples in the prompt chains. You'll have the best results by creating your own custom presets for content in the language of your choice.

Do you have a mobile app?

No. We don't have an iOS or Android app. The site isn't optimized for mobile use. At this stage in our company, it's important that we nail the desktop experience and make the best AI content generator out there. Mobile will have to wait.

How much does Reactor.is cost?

You can check the pricing here.Reactor is a human-quality writing system and costs a fraction of what human ghostwriter would cost.Still, Reactor may feel priced at a premium vs some other tools. That's because our process uses a multi-step process on top-tier AI models and consumes 10-100x more compute than competitors like Jasper and CopyAI. Then again, the quality of our outputs may be ahead of them on a similar multiple as well.

How long does it take to generate content with AI?

Because our AI system uses powerful, larger AI models, and a multi-step process, Co-Writer usually takes about 5 minutes to run. Repurposer takes about 3-4 minutes to run.We believe that quality is more important than speed when it comes to AI content. If the quality is bad, it doesn't matter how fast it came out.Note that if a generation fails for any reason, no credits are deducted from your account.

Who built Reactor.is?

Reactor is based on Rob Lennon's hit course and writing system Content Reactor which has had over 3,000+ participants.Rob teamed up with Shawn Veltman and his developers to create the app that keeps you organized and does all the hard work for you.Legendary writing and editing coach Erica Schneider is our special advisor on content quality, content repurposing, and editing workflows.

How do I get free credits when signing up?

Your free plan credits will automatically deposit in your Reactor.is account for you to try out the app's features. We also do periodic credit drops to give you extra credits to try new features or just to say thank you.To get your credit drop, log in and click on the Notifications during the promotional period.

Who is Reactor not for?

Reactor is currently optimized for people with business audiences who post on sites like LinkedIn, Bluesky and đť•Ź. It can also write emails, short form video scripts, and other similar content if you set up custom content presets.Reactor uses AI models which are trained on data that is months or years old and does not (yet) have the ability to search the web and bring in current information. It's not well suited for lifestyle influencers, politics, crypto/investing, and other non-business niches.
